In Romania, consumption of natural gas fell sharply over the past two years and there are no material signs of recovery. Its level in October this year was 26% below that recorded in October 2019 and also in October 2018.
Based on seasonally adjusted data, consumption of natural gas was 9% below the level of domestic production in Q3.
Imports of natural gas have decreased sharply, while natural gas stock is at a maximum level.
