A stronger rebound of exports of goods and services than of imports triggered a sizeable improvement of foreign trade balances across all CEE countries in May.
This followed the visible deterioration of the external imbalances during March-April when COVID-19 outbreak triggered a much larger contraction of exports than of imports.
