Both the number of employees definitively losing their jobs and the increase of unemployed persons have been contained during March-May as government stepped in to cover wages of employees from companies that were negatively impacted by COVID-19 crisis (technical unemployment).
Still, labor market conditions should further deteriorate in the coming period as economic activity will remain much below its pre-crisis level.
